The NBN has pretty much forced all telephone systems to move to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Whereas most providers are putting all their telephone communications in the ‘Cloud’ with just VoIP phones on site (Hosted VoIP), IPC Solutions has chosen to provide a dedicated telephone system on site. |As the telephone controller is in the cloud, your VoIP phones need to connect to the controller via your existing Internet connection and broadband router. Have they been set up correctly? Is anyone managing them?||An onsite system allows us to manage the solution end to end so the whole system works together.|
|A hosted provider is very limited in how they can monitor and troubleshoot your telephone system if they don't have access to your network devices.||We have full administrative access to all components of your communications system which means quicker changes and problem diagnosis and resolution.|
|Most hosted providers make you configure the system yourself or charge you for configuration changes.
